All-Level Yoga Flow !! Vinyasa, also called flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together. In vinyasa yoga, each movement is synchronized to a breath. The breath is given primacy, acting as an anchor as you move from one pose to the next. Vinyasa has both physical and mental benefits. Benefits: Physically, sweat releases toxins and re-energizes our bodies. Mentally, the synchronized breathing relaxes the chatter of the mind and helps to release any blockage of energy flow throughout our bodies.
